Freelance Contract Generator

Courts look for five things: (1) clear parties and scope — exactly what is being delivered; (2) consideration — what each side gives (fee for work); (3) payment terms — amount, schedule, late fees; (4) IP ownership — when rights transfer, usually on final payment; (5) signatures from both sides. This generator covers all five, plus termination, confidentiality and independent-contractor status — the clauses that prevent the most common freelance disputes.

A $4,500 brand-design project. Scope lists the logo, color palette and 2 revision rounds line by line. Payment: 50% ($2,250) upfront, 50% on delivery, with a 1.5% monthly late fee.
