How it works
List each box
Give every box a label like “Kitchen 1” and type its contents, one item per line.
Get the QR codes
Each box gets a QR code encoding its contents as plain text — readable by any phone camera, no app or internet needed.
Print and stick
Print the label sheet (or download individual QR codes as SVG), cut them out, and tape one to each box.
Box labels carry codes; document boxes carry links. The PDF Link Extractor lists every hyperlink hiding in a PDF — the inventory habit applied to paperwork, so a stored contract's links are known quantities, not surprises.

Worked example: labeling a two-bedroom move
You are packing a two-bedroom apartment — about 40 boxes. For each box you type a short contents list: “Kitchen — pots, blender, baking sheets, drawer dividers.” The tool generates a QR label you print and tape on two sides of the box. On moving day the movers stack everything in the garage; two weeks later you need the blender. Instead of opening six “Kitchen” boxes, you scan labels with your phone camera until one shows the blender — thirty seconds, zero box-opening.
Print on plain paper and cover the label with clear packing tape so it survives rain on the truck and dusty storage. Number your boxes too (“K-3” on the tape) as a backup: if a label ever gets destroyed, the number plus your master list still tells you what is inside. The whole labeling session for 40 boxes takes about an hour — and saves many times that on the unpacking end.
Limitations
The QR code stores your contents list as text, so keep each list short — a paragraph per box scans fastest and stays reliable even if the label gets scuffed. Very long lists make dense codes that cheap phone cameras struggle with in dim garages.
Labels are only as honest as your packing: if you toss “two random desk drawers” into a box labeled “Books,” the QR code will confidently mislead you. And remember the lists live in your browser — export or print a master list before you clear browsing data, or the digital backup of your box inventory goes with it.
